The HeatBox

Does it need a plug?

The Rechargeable HeatBox heats without a wall plug after charging. The Plug-In HeatBox must stay connected to power while heating.

Does it work during loadshedding?

The Rechargeable HeatBox is the best option for loadshedding — charge it before your day starts and it heats without a socket. The Plug-In model needs a working power source.

How long does heating take?

Heating time depends on the food, portion size, and starting temperature. Thicker meals and food straight from the fridge need more time. Switch it on before your lunch break for best results.

What can I heat in it?

It is made for pre-cooked meals like rice, pap, pasta, stew, veg, chicken, leftovers, and meal-prep lunches.

Can I cook raw food in it?

No. The HeatBox is for reheating food that is already cooked. Do not use it for raw meat or boiling liquids.

How do I clean it?

Remove the stainless steel inner tray and wash it by hand. Do not submerge the electronic base in water.

Delivery & Tracking

How much is delivery?

Delivery is R89 for orders under R500 and free on orders over R500.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days. Delivery usually takes 8–11 business days to most major South African centres.

How do I track my order?

Once your HeatBox ships, we email you a tracking link. Check the email address you used at checkout — your dispatch confirmation includes everything you need to follow your order.

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. If it has been longer than that, email theheatboxza@gmail.com with your order number and we will follow up.
